@Omar007: big thank. now I've got the newest version v5.1752.

But anyway i tried to flash a MTK MT6592 device, but i got ERROR: S_COM_PORT_OPEN_FAIL (1013) [COM] Failed to open COM port. I tried to run sudo spflashtool, but the program showed a blank window. -- did i miss something?

@nasrul; It should not. That is both another website completely and isn't even running the latest version.

You can also see that the URL is perfectly valid if you had manually visited the site and clicked on the given entry. (barring any site downtime, which can happen to any site at some point. In that case, just try again later)

hello, thanks for this, any plans for update??

Omar007 commented on 2016-09-12 21:36 (UTC)

Hmm that is actually running off of a different domain. I'll have to check what that's about. Once I've done my checks I'll update the package accordingly.

Looks like latest version is 5.1632 http://spflashtools.com/linux/sp-flash-tool-v5-1632-for-linux

What do you mean exactly? 5.1520.00.100 is the current version for Linux so the package is up-to-date at the moment.

thanks. Possible title mistake in 5.1520? 6.1520.
