7.2.0 for Linux has been fixed and released. Full information on SpiderOak's release notes at https://spideroak.com/articles/one-groups-backup-7-2-0-release-notes-june-11-2018/.

As always, please let me know if you have issues with this PKGBUILD. Thanks!

Looks like upstream is having issues:

"Note: Today we discovered an error in the way our Linux builds of SpiderOak One were released. This is in the process of being fixed but in the meantime we will be serving v. 7.1.0. Once the issue is resolved we will add new checksums to this page. SpiderOak Groups installers are unaffected."

(posted on the release notes for v7.2.0 https://spideroak.com/articles/one-groups-backup-7-2-0-release-notes-june-11-2018/)

This means the current version for Linux is 7.1.0. I will update when 7.2.0 is released.

@Olorin I updated the PKGBUILD to the current version back on 29 Dec.

Looks like Spideroak broke a few weeks back. It will start, but no backup. Here is the error I get when running it from term: Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 6, in <module> File "__main__.py", line 128, in <module> File "__main__SpiderOakONE__.py", line 183, in <module> File "__main__SpiderOakONE__.py", line 168, in main File "oak/Oak.py", line 19, in <module> File "Pandora/library/policy_selection.py", line 14, in <module> File "Pandora/UserConfig.py", line 20, in <module> File "Pandora/system_queue/fix_win_root_path.py", line 12, in <module> File "Pandora/Network/__init__.py", line 44, in <module> File "Pandora/Network/UplinkService.py", line 10, in <module> File "Pandora/Network/ServerSession.py", line 17, in <module> File "Pandora/Network/ServerSessionBase.py", line 12, in <module> File "Pandora/ssl/__init__.py", line 3, in <module> File "OpenSSL/__init__.py", line 40, in <module> ImportError: cannot import name crypto

It looks like SpiderOak one is now available as a generic Linux tarball - https://spideroak.com/release/spideroak/slack_tar_x86 and https://spideroak.com/release/spideroak/slack_tar_x64.

@ectoplasm - I just maintain the PKGBUILD. I'm sorry that SpiderOak's support was less than helpful, but I'm not going to be much help either. SpiderOakONE does have a CLI-only option. Just run with the --headless flag. You can see all the CLI references here: https://support.spideroak.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001891343-Command-Line-Reference
