Please, update the PKGBUILD and spindown.service to contemplate the changing in the system where all binaries are in /usr/bin.

http://ix.io/4t1 you also need a package() function use this for your spindown.service there is no need

Done, bjo. Enable the systemd service and reboot, or run: systemd-tmpfiles --create , before starting it.
