Ok, then I apologise again for my rude tone before, the timing between forum and post seemed just too convenient, but well, coincidents do happen... just the first time they happened like that to me. Anyway, could you tell me why you use all the || return 1? As far as my testing went, if any command goes wrong makepkg crashes anyway? And reagarding hts and hts_engine... wow, I had exactly the same intention, I alrady have a working PKGBUILD for hts and hts_engine is coming next, because I use them to compile the Nitech HTS voices for festival (Compiled the tools by hand before and the training process is running on my Archbox; slt voice is already finished). I'll upload the hts PKGBUILD later today. PS: Since you didn't see my post in the forum and I didn't see yours there is nothing you should apologise for.

And sorry I did not read your thread. As you can see my posts on the forum were a bit earlier. I check: libx11 is definitely not a dependency (compile and works without it) so namcap is wrong there. I changed the license to BSD, will be updated soon.

Well, I posted on the forum to ask how to deal with boost: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=128267 It does conflict but it should not. I mean you should be able to have both sptk and boost installed on your system. That's why I put it in /opt. I will check the license and dependencies, thanks.

Also, it conflicts with boost, so the PKGBUILD should state that, not simply install it somewhere else. If you do that, you won't need to change the PATH with your .sh anymore.

Very strange that this shows up quite soon after I posted my version and asked for help here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1003397 License is BSD, not custom btw and depends should be libx11 (at least that is what namcap says). Anyway, in case you uploaded this without reading my post in the forum I apologise beforehand, otherwise I must ask if you thought I would not upload^^

Put into /opt because the binary "bcp" was conflicting with boost
