This v0.1.4 release is the latest, and currently does not work in Arch. The git version does, http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/sshping-git

This v0.1.4 release is the latest and is very old,

The current release v0.1.4, tt does not work on Archlinux

Note that pod2man is also a make dependency. Available from AUR.
