@timofonic looks like setconf is missing.

Updated the package to use /usr/bin instead of /usr/sbin. Thanks fukawi2.

Please update PKGBUILD to install binaries to /usr/bin instead of /usr/sbin in line with recent changes:

david.runge, thanks. If grub-customizer is being actively developed, it's probably better, since this project hasn't been actively developed since 2011-05-06.

if anyone's interested, there's grub-customizer, too.

The project is no longer actively developed:

Figured out that startupmanager refers to different paths than the ones in the grub2 package.
Updated the PKGBUILD. Startupmanager now finds GRUB2. Namcap displays no errors.

gravsky, this seems to be to be a problem with the application itself.
As a temporary solution for the package (not the application), I have removed grub 2 from the package description.
I'll see what I can do.
Thanks for noticing.

Yeah, it doesn't detect grub2 at all.

GRUB2 normally works. You may to just reinstall the program. (I've once tried to install GRUB2, but I kept on getting problems, so I'm staying with legacy GRUB for now.)

Speaking of which, I can't install the program. There's some Python error, so I'm assuming that this package hasn't been adjusted for the Python2 and Python3 package change. It would be great if this could be fixed.

Are you sure you should say GRUB2 here? I installed this and tried it in Grub legacy and it worked well. When I installed grub2 (and thereby removing legacy grub) the program tells me that grub is not installed.
