May be package update needed, to make xfwm4/openbox optional?

markzz commented on 2014-04-21 17:46

I moved KDM support to steam-session-kdm-git -

Updated to 51-1 and added kdm support.

I adopted this package, I'll add kde support soon.

I tried it in Manjaro KDE, and it does not works, there does not appears anything in the KDM

@hilton: Because packages that provide xsessions have always been named this way, therefore steam-login is a poor choice for such a package.

hilton commented on 2013-01-26 16:13

This is cool, but why did you name this package steam-session instead of steam-login that clearly is the name the software author chose?

@gtmanfred: Thx I've started using this in my other packages indeed, I'll update this one too. And thx for the cp tip, now I have a better way to copy dirs recursively!

gtmanfred commented on 2013-01-25 04:52

if you use + instead of \; it will do all of the files at one time instead of one at a time

alucryd commented on 2013-01-15 09:18

@gtmanfred: Will do, however when I first looked into find (unfortunately can't find the source anymore), I've read that using xargs instead of exec was much faster (not that it really matters here with but a few files), that's why I've been using xargs all along. What's your take on this?
