This is a package which depends on the existence of the source. The url is provided just for reference, it is up to the user to get a hold of the sdk and place it in the build dir. For all those who had signed up for the developer account before June 2010, please ensure that you had signed up using the "MySteinberg" portal. You can do that by visiting http://www.steinberg.net/en/mysteinberg.html and clicking on the forget-password or forget-username button. After logging in there, you can now go thttp://www.steinberg.net/en/company/developer.html and if you didn't "extend" your account to a developer account before, you can click on the link to do so. Otherwise, you can just click through to the SDK (click the images).

The SDK is not available anymore without a dev account on Steinberg: makepkg -s ==> Making package: steinberg-asio 2.2-2 i686 (Sat May 8 16:38:03 CEST 2010) ==> Checking Runtime Dependencies... ==> Checking Buildtime Dependencies... ==> Retrieving Sources... ==> ERROR: asiosdk2.2.zip was not found in the build directory and is not a URL
