sankasan, thanks for this package. My son started to use Stencyl, so I adopted and updated it.

sankasan commented on 2019-08-13 12:45

I'm dropping support on this one as I haven't used the package in over a year.

sankasan commented on 2019-07-12 19:08

Updated to 4.0.1.

Note: The Stencyl project dropped the 32bit download and thus the package only supports 64bit. Shouldn't be an issue for most, and it might still work as it is a JAVA application. Please let me know if this is the case.

@Blaiz0r, I think the stencyl website is down. At least it is over here. It could also be that there has been a new release but I can't check because I can't reach the website. If that is the case please flag the package as outdated.

Blaiz0r commented on 2016-11-16 20:12

I'm getting failed to verify stencyl integrity when I update.

What can I do to get around this?

Updated to 3.4.0 (Beta 5)

Thanks Yoshi2889 for the notification.

Updated to 3.4.0 (Beta 4). Enjoy!

sankasan commented on 2016-07-08 16:29

Ah nice, I just noticed that Beta 4 has been released. Will update the package later tonight.

sankasan commented on 2016-07-08 16:21

Sorry about the delay but all should be up and running again.
Thanks thomastc with these direct links. However I'd wish they'd provide those of the current release as well. That would allow us to keep things working when they push a new version out.

Anyways, enjoy the new release!

Correct md5sums as of just now: replace lines 24-31 in the PKGBUILD by these:

[ "$CARCH" = "i686" ] && {
[ "$CARCH" = "x86_64" ] && {

The download page announces this as: 3.4.0 (Beta 3), Build 9170 - May 11th, 2016. Or just write 'SKIP' instead of the actual checksum if these, too, are out of date.

@sankasan: FYI, has download URLs that contain version numbers (/get33/ etc.), but how stable and supported these are I don't know.
