Ran into this error:

...
/bin/sh: line 1: pod2man: command not found
make: *** [Makefile:1560: doc/stow.8] Error 127
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
    Aborting...

This can be fixed by adding /usr/bin/core_perl to PATH. See Arch BBS discussion: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=120256
