The Flatpak release is also a binary release.
This PKGBUILD can be updated to download that one as a source, extract the files from it and put whatever is needed in the created pacman package.

I just checked: the game works. Do not remove the package and mark it as "out-of-date". Let this be the last available binary version (2.6)

AUR has the stuntrally-git package based on the latest development source code, if anyone wants to try that one out.

The project no longer ships binary tarball builds of this game.
It releases Flatpak packages.
