Please update to version 2020.2 (6.2.0)

@ghfujianbin I believe the issue is related to tmp size

ghfujianbin commented on 2020-06-28 12:46

Does anyone also have the error show up after launching Painter which says: paging file maximum size is too low? I have a swap partition of 16G available, so I'm wondering what's causing the problem here? Thanks.

Just updated this to the new build number format. 6.1.1-256 is the build for 2020.1.1

Will get substance designer done later today.

https://download.allegorithmic.com/substance-painter/2019.x/Substance_Painter-2019.3.2-3653-linux-x64-standard.rpm here's a link of the most latest version of SP

I think, we can still provide these Substance packages. The needed download link can be found via Substance Designer AppImage logs. Let's hope Adobe will not remove them in the future.

Download links for old versions seem to work, so maybe it's possible to download the RPM by just substituting the proper build number in the link? (I can't see anything under licensing/subscriptions on the account management anymore, so can't say which version is the latest at this point.)

It looks like Allegorithmic switched away from providing distinct versions of their software for Linux. They now to provide an Appimage-based called Substance-Launcher. I did try installing Painter with it but it seems to crash on my system right before the installation procedure starts with error: "[warn] Install canceled. Error: Error: User did not grant permission." ... so I assume, I just miss the right user rights for the Appimage to proceed with the installation.

I no longer own licenses for Substance and cannot update this package anymore.

@lehthanis Fixed, my bad, sorry.
