The launcher no longer works since the script has been renamed to sunflower.py with a lowercase 's'! Also it will be best to use the provided .desktop file, which has a lot of translations, too. You can simply sed the correct path /opt/sunflower/application/sunflower.py when you copy it to /usr/share :) Thank you.

It seems that python2-gobject must be in Dependencies, for "import gi" works well.

Thank you both for the updates and I have updated to the more feature filled .3 branch. Forgive me for the longer than expected response time, I missed the comments below until now. This is the best gui file manager available and I think everyone who uses it will agree that it has grown in leaps and bounds with many advanced and useful features. Thank you for such excellent work MeanEYE.

If the Sunflower does not start with "Error starting Sunflower, missing GTK 3.0+" message, install python2-gconf. The error message is misleading and probably will be fixed soon.

Version 0.3 is out. :)

Note to maintainers. We've switched to Git (https://github.com/MeanEYE/Sunflower). There are 3 branches you should note. 1. master - Place where stable releases end up; 2. release - Branch we use once feature freeze is in effect. Only bug fixes go to this one; 3. develop - Cutting edge things that we might break. New version is being prepared. I'll notify through standard channels once release is out. For next version (or two) I will keep Mercurial repository alive. Sorry for the change in CVS. Should there be need I'll continue providing Mercurial repository indefinitely. Thanks!

After the gnome 3.12 upgrade sunflower takes around 20 sec to start up. If I try to closem I'm getting a no response warning. This is the terminal output: Gkr-Message: secret service operation failed: Activation of org.freedesktop.secrets timed out Gkr-Message: secret service operation failed: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
