I see you updated this package on 2024-01-24, but the issue reported on 2024-01-21 was not taken care of in that update.

Please remove the symlink /etc/udev/rules.d/99-aw_usb.rules.

The file /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/99-aw_usb.rules is sufficient, and /etc/udev/rules.d/99-aw_usb.rules is meant to be left to be created by users who want to override /etc/udev/rules.d/99-aw_usb.rules.

This is a split package.

conflicts and provides and replaces entries should be in the respective package_<packagename>()-functions.

Please add to

  • sunxi-livesuite-git: sunxi-livesuite to provides and conflicts array,
  • sunxi-livesuite-dkms-git: sunxi-livesuite-dkms to provides and conflicts array.

Also move the replaces entries to the appropriate places.

This package's pkgver() just uses the git commit hash.

This is erratic.

But $pkgver must be strongly monotoneously increasing with every upstream commit.

Please use a pkgver() that guarantees this, e.g.:

pkgver() {
    cd "${srcdir}/${pkgbase%-git}"
    _rev="$(git rev-list --count HEAD)"
    _date="$(git log -1 --date=format:"%Y%m%d" --format="%ad")"
    _hash="$(git rev-parse --short HEAD)"

    if [ -z "${_rev}" ]; then
        error "Could not determine commit count."
    return 1
    else
        printf '%s' "r${_rev}.${_date}.${_hash}"
    fi
}

which currently produces r5.20140913.1a0b52a.
