Sorry about that. Should be fixed.

Hi same error:
install: cannot stat 'superlu_ug.pdf': No such file or directory

xantares commented on 2018-12-20 08:29

hi, you did not change the pdf name in the install section

==> Starting package()...

install: cannot stat '/home/xantares/.cache/aurman/superlu/src/superlu_ug.pdf':

No such file or directory

Fixed, thanks for noticing!

The user guide URL points to an outdated version from 2011. The latest version from 2016 is found here: http://crd-legacy.lbl.gov/~xiaoye/SuperLU/ug.pdf

Good catch. The use of the flag seems to result in a different compiled library. I haven't thoroughly checked which routines get used, though.

nema.arpit commented on 2018-07-29 05:19

Shouldn't BLASDEF option be equal to -DUSE_VENDOR_BLAS? Following the superlu readme, that is the flag to tell superlu to actually use the provided BLAS, otherwise routines included with superlu code are used.

I added the option ot the PKGBUILD. Thanks for notifying me!

lahwaacz commented on 2018-06-21 06:50

You need options=(staticlibs) in the PKGBUILD, they are disabled by default in makepkg.conf.

Looks like the pkgbuild is set up to build both shared and static libraries, but I only have a shared library in the resulting package:

$ pacman -Ql superlu

superlu /usr/

superlu /usr/include/

superlu /usr/include/superlu/

superlu /usr/include/superlu/colamd.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/html_mainpage.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/slu_Cnames.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/slu_cdefs.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/slu_dcomplex.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/slu_ddefs.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/slu_scomplex.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/slu_sdefs.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/slu_util.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/slu_zdefs.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/superlu_enum_consts.h

superlu /usr/include/superlu/supermatrix.h

superlu /usr/lib/

superlu /usr/lib/libsuperlu.so

superlu /usr/lib/libsuperlu.so.4

superlu /usr/lib/libsuperlu.so.5.2.1

superlu /usr/share/

superlu /usr/share/doc/

superlu /usr/share/doc/superlu/

superlu /usr/share/doc/superlu/README

superlu /usr/share/doc/superlu/superlu_ug.pdf

superlu /usr/share/licenses/

superlu /usr/share/licenses/superlu/

superlu /usr/share/licenses/superlu/License.txt

Any idea why this might be? Thanks.
