keep up with this gist for regular updates of the HiB manager script. https://gist.github.com/2909220 as promised, the supermeatboy PKGBUILD is being vastly simplified thanks to the HiB script. watch this link for updates if you need a working PKGBUILD. https://gist.github.com/2902585 i'm not prepared to push it quite yet, but rest assured the time will come soon.

if this doesn't support yaourt, then just use makepkg. i don't care if yaourt ever works on anything tbqh. use a better method. makepkg works perfectly fine, and if makepkg works then everything else is SoL. sorry. ZDragon- agreed, i'm going to work something out for that. Mineo, see previous comments.

The package name for aria is "aria2" not "aria2c".

Just so you know: this PKGBUILD does not work with yaourt. The script is just running in the pass before dependency checking and all output is hidden.

I think the _humblebundledir idea is excellent though. Since you're already working on a sort of "framework" for the bundles, that would be quite cool.

not dropping bt support, the pkg.install encourages reseeding (if i got the damn thing working right). plus, even if everyone simply leeches, we are lightening the load on the HIB servers by using bt. it stays, no discussion. i am not pushing a new pkgrel yet because the new PKGBUILD is not complete, but you can feel free to test the one on gist. it nearly supports properly resumable downloads with both aria2c and curl. a new var would be helpful in completing that feature, thank you for the hint. for now, i am in dire need of sleep. the new PKGBUILD will be ready within 24 hours, sorry for any inconvenience.

Please drop that bittorrent support … it's quite useless because it's acting just as a leecher. Another thing needs to be done for bt: eg. _humblebundledir variable pointing to the place where downloaded packages exist. With Your current PKGBUILD you are downloading the same file all over again with just new version of pkgbuild…

https://gist.github.com/2902585 this version is not fully functional but _will_ download if you do it right. otherwise, you can specify the directory where your previous download exists and this will also work. still builds, all fine, just some of it is acting up.

sorry i don't use yaourt. in the meantime, try using makepkg instead while i wrap up the finishing touches on the new version of the PKGBUILD. if it still doesn't work, just wait it out.

Yaourt doesn't seem to like the -10 version. It asks wether I want to edit the pkgbuild or not. I removed the c and then it just stops and does nothing. I waited for about half an hour and still it didn't start to install the package. The -8 Version worked fine.
