remove the license install part in the PKGBUILD file below

24   install -Dm644 -t "${pkgdir}/usr/share/licenses/${pkgname}" \
25     "${pkgdir}/opt/superProductivity/"{'LICENSE.electron.txt','LICENSES.chromium.html'}

Same issue here:

install: cannot stat '/home/maxsak/.cache/yay/superproductivity-bin/pkg/superproductivity-bin/opt/superProductivity/LICENSE.electron.txt': No such file or directory
install: cannot stat '/home/maxsak/.cache/yay/superproductivity-bin/pkg/superproductivity-bin/opt/superProductivity/LICENSES.chromium.html': No such file or directory
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().
    Aborting...
 -> error making: superproductivity-bin-exit status 4
 -> Failed to install the following packages. Manual intervention is required:
superproductivity-bin - exit status 4

Might be a naming problem? When I look at the folder manually it's called:

/home/maxsak/.cache/yay/superproductivity-bin/pkg/superproductivity-bin/opt/Super\ Productivity

simply copying it did not fix it though

There are a few differences in the contents of the new version; I'm getting this error now:

./usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps/superproductivity.png
install: cannot stat '/var/tmp/pamac-build-user/superproductivity-bin/pkg/superproductivity-bin/opt/superProductivity/LICENSE.electron.txt': No such file or directory
install: cannot stat '/var/tmp/pamac-build-user/superproductivity-bin/pkg/superproductivity-bin/opt/superProductivity/LICENSES.chromium.html': No such file or directory
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().

The DEB package fort the version 10.1.0 does not include the version in file's name. Currently it is this URL: https://github.com/johannesjo/super-productivity/releases/download/v10.1.0/superProductivity-amd64.deb

Looks like the CICD Github action for publishing on AUR doesn't handle versions that are more than digits and dots. I have submitted a PR to try to fix that.

https://github.com/johannesjo/super-productivity/releases/download/v10.0.0/superProductivity_10.0.0_amd64.deb returns 404. I think it should be 10.0.0-rc.0.

Fixed in https://github.com/johannesjo/super-productivity/commit/16149bf23aaa3d2735cf95140ab579922b14e073

One solution is to change the makepkg defaults to include !debug
