As someone who has never worked with Rust, installing this package has been an issue. It explicitly depends on rustup, but then it fails while building:

==> Starting build()...
error: rustup could not choose a version of cargo to run, because one wasn't specified explicitly, and no default is configured.
help: run 'rustup default stable' to download the latest stable release of Rust and set it as your default toolchain.
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

From the wiki, it sounds like rustup is better suited to people working with Rust language, while the plain native install (using rust) is better for people just running or installing software that is written in Rust.

Would it be possible to change the rustupp dependency in svgbob?
