I resolved the errors regarding /usr/lib64 and /usr/sbin by modifying the cmake call in build() of PKGBUILD:

cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr -DSYSCONF_INSTALL_DIR=/etc -DLOCAL_STATE_DIR=/var -DUSE_QT=YES -DCMAKE_INSTALL_LIBDIR:PATH=lib -DCMAKE_INSTALL_LIBEXECDIR:PATH=lib -DSBIN_INSTALL_DIR=/usr/bin  ..

You can do mv /usr/lib64 /usr/lib64.backup and mv /usr/sbin /usr/sbin.backup

I would like to add, I am also receiving the same error message: error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) svxlink: /usr/lib64 exists in filesystem svxlink: /usr/sbin exists in filesystem Glendon KG5WXU 73

When I tried to install this I received the following error:

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) svxlink: /usr/lib64 exists in filesystem svxlink: /usr/sbin exists in filesystem

Is there a work around for this error?

Does anyone have some guidance on making an svxlink-git PKGBUILD so I can try the upstream compile fixes that have already been merged?
