Thanks ventosus and ngeiswei, added libgnomecanvas to depends.

I'm new to Arch, I'd like to send a patch to fix this package (add libgnomecanvas dep), any idea how?

Here's the patch BTW:

diff --git a/PKGBUILD b/PKGBUILD index 0bae681..56d3acf 100644 --- a/PKGBUILD +++ b/PKGBUILD @@ -7,7 +7,7 @@ pkgdesc='A SoundFont editor' arch=('x86_64') url='http://www.swamiproject.org' license=('GPL2') -depends=('gtk2' 'fftw' 'audiofile' 'fluidsynth' 'libinstpatch') +depends=('gtk2' 'fftw' 'audiofile' 'fluidsynth' 'libinstpatch' 'libgnomecanvas') makedepends=('cmake') optdepends=('libpng') source=("https://github.com/swami/${pkgname}/archive/v${pkgver}.tar.gz" 'cwd.patch')

I had to install this package here first as it is a hard dependency.

As of today's build, the settings dialog SIGSEGVs.

Ah, weird what works in my shell doesn't work in sh. Go figure. Fixed :)

Don't quote the cmake option -D CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr.

Rulatir commented on 2020-02-20 02:36 (UTC)

It's still /usr/local with raw makepkg for me...

Ah indeed, I just tried with yay and it went into /usr/local for me as well. Will investigate.

Nope because for me it installs to /usr/local. But I built it with an AUR helper, will try raw makepkg now...

Hah, you're probably the first to try and install it (and therefore finding all the bugs).

Curious, I assure you it works for me. Is /usr/lib/libswamigui.so not listed by pacman -Ql swami?
