I can comfirm the building issue:

: Building binary

go: go.mod file not found in current directory or any parent directory; see 'go help modules'

==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting...

to create a module there, run: cd ../../.. && go mod init ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting...

This should have been submitted as swaymgr-git. Please follow VCS and Go package guidelines. See my example PKGBUILD.
