the -dark version of this package is showing the light theme for older versions of GTK, so it seems like things got a little messed up. it'd honestly be better if this package just included both versions, might lead to less confusion, and work better with the gnome light/dark switching.

Yes, I concur, this package is installing the dark theme. For now you can install sweet-theme-git which does install the light theme.

I dont know why, but this version looks exactly the same as the dark theme. Since the update to 3.0 the normal "Sweet" theme is only showing full dark settings instead of the expected light version.
