I'm no longer maintaining this package as Swiftly is a much easier and nicer way to manage Swift toolchains, and I've been using it for cutting-edge development since it was published. You can find it here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/swiftly-bin

@boogiemonster1o1 I've updated it to Swift 6. No problems installing it, but subcommands are broken. I'm on 6.9.3-arch1-1.

@RandomHashTags Sorry for the late answer. I'm using Manjaro. With the latest version of this package I couldn't use swift at all at first, because
/usr/lib/libtinfo.so.5was missing. However I could fix all of these problems by installing thencurses5-compat-libspackage, so I would recommend that you add that to your package dependencies.RandomHashTags commented on 2022-08-04 12:46 (UTC)

I couldn't use the REPL without creating the following two symlinks:
