Please, add the following two lines in PKGBUILD to properly install systemd services. install -Dm755 "$srcdir/$pkgname-${_realver}/systemd/syncany.service" "${pkgdir}/usr/lib/systemd/user/syncany.service" install -Dm755 "$srcdir/$pkgname-${_realver}/systemd/syncany-gui.service" "${pkgdir}/usr/lib/systemd/user/syncany-gui.service"

I'll fix the bash-completion thing after the switch to AUR4. The PKGBUILD of this package contains a line that can be uncommented to symlink sy to syncany

as bitwave mentioned the documentation online assumes syncany is installed as sy. I didn't find any package using sy (tried using pkgfile) Why is bash-completion a hard dependency?

Uncommenting ln -s option in PKGBUILD creates a link to /tmp/yaourt-tmp-root/aur-syncany/pkg/syncany/usr/bin/syncany so it doesn't working right.

I was advised to not install the shortcut by default (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=179311) I have added it as an option, you can uncomment it if you want it.

please install syncany in bin as /bin/sy
