Could you separate Synergy 1 from Synergy 3? Both branches are developed simultaneously. See versions are their release dates on Other versions download page Synergy versions from 1.x should not be upgraded to 3.x

The open-source version is called deskflow, and the proprietary version is synergy. Arch doesn’t version package names like Debian does, so the correct approach is to have deskflow and synergy as separate packages. If you want to provide an older release of either, it should be named something like synergy1. It’s the responsibility of the outdated package to be versioned, not the current one.

Hello, not sure if I should comment here or elsewhere. The AUR is saying the current path is to update from Synergy1 to Synergy3, which is undesired for licensing and just general preference reasons. There is a separate package for Synergy3 (this one). The current version of Synergy1 is 1.19.
