New PKBUILD for 3.0.75.7-RC3
Only things changed are the pkg version and release, SHA256 checksum and data.tar.bz2 (from .tar.xz)

I didn't realize formatting for the out-of-date message was lost... RC3 diff below, it does generate an error on launching the UI but everything functions OK as far as I can tell:

The "libappindicator-gtk3" package appear to be a required pre-requisite with Synergy 3 RC2.
Without it, the synergy-service backend coredumps when it can't find libappindicator3.so. I suspect this issue is what shyce@ may have been hitting.

After install the Synergy frontend couldn't connect to the backend service. I ran
systemctl --user enable synergy
andsystemctl --user start synergy
to make it work.shyce commented on 2023-06-17 11:38 (UTC)
I reinstalled Arch with archinstall and chose KDE instead of using the wiki and installing i3 and it's working now. Thanks!

My service just won't start with no errors, it just dies as soon as you try to connect to it. I tried reinstalling after deleting ~/.config/Synergy and ~/.config/synergy with both makepkg and paru. This is a brand new arch install with i3 and nvidia proprietary gfx drivers.

I had the same issue as shyce, I deleted my ~/.config/synergy and ~/.config/Synergy directories to reset the application and it fixed the issue. A bit annoying that it just randomly breaks though.

I cannot do that, it's not an option. https://i.imgur.com/lA9P3TG.png
