synology-assistant: local (7.0.50029-1) is newer than AUR (7.0.2_50046-2)

Bad versioning scheme?

Hi, I've corrected.

Hi, I suggest you link to the release notes in the upstream URL, that is way more useful than the root site.

Upstream URL in not working. Seems they have changed from distributing the generic .zip to offering an Ubuntu .deb I used the .deb file to make a package for arch. Works for me. In case somebody have use for it before this package updates:

It seems this is still the latest, but I rely on other people telling me when there is an update.

A tar step is missing : I had to add this line : tar -xzf ${srcdir}/SynologyAssistant-${_synver}-${pkgver}.tar.gz just after this line : mkdir -p ${pkgdir}/opt/dsassistant and just before this line : cp -r ${srcdir}/SynologyAssistant/* ${pkgdir}/opt/dsassistant
