synology-assistant: local (7.0.50029-1) is newer than AUR (7.0.2_50046-2)

Bad versioning scheme?

Hi, I've corrected.

Hi, I suggest you link to the release notes in the upstream URL, that is way more useful than the root site. https://www.synology.com/en-global/releaseNote/Assistant

Upstream URL in not working. Seems they have changed from distributing the generic .zip to offering an Ubuntu .deb I used the .deb file to make a package for arch. Works for me. In case somebody have use for it before this package updates: http://insolita.se/dsassistant-5566-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

It seems this is still the latest, but I rely on other people telling me when there is an update.

A tar step is missing : I had to add this line : tar -xzf ${srcdir}/SynologyAssistant-${_synver}-${pkgver}.tar.gz just after this line : mkdir -p ${pkgdir}/opt/dsassistant and just before this line : cp -r ${srcdir}/SynologyAssistant/* ${pkgdir}/opt/dsassistant
