Yeah i'm not sure what to do with the pkgrel var.. I would prefer to avoid having to change it with every commit that i make. Previously it was 0.1 now it's 9.9.9-9 If it's causing you issues i could revert the static rel back to 0.1.

As for the -git prefix, Good point.. I should really do that sometime in the near future..

The pkgver and pkgrel variables (9.9.9-9) seem a bit cooked, given that the pkgver function updates it to something like "2024.11.08-1" - it makes AUR helpers like yay unhappy (or well, it warns about it).

I found this from https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/VCS_package_guidelines "you still need to declare the pkgver variable with the most recent value" (I assume this just means updating the most recent value every time you change the PKGBUILD hosted on AUR.

Also, this should probably be called syshud-git since it's a VCS package.
