@t3g we would love to have it in the community repo if possible. I'm not sure how to do that without enough votes I believe.

@ahoneybun_76 - Any plans to add this to one of the main Arch repositories? I think it would be handy to have it installable without AUR with a package name like "system76-keyboard-configurator"

It looks like that fixed the issue with Paru and Yay!

Oh now it worked!

Improved PKGBUILD

@ahoneybun_76 I'm getting the same error with yay and version 1.1.0. I believe this has to do with the
pkgname
not matching the name of this repo (system76-keyboard-configurator vs keyboard-configurator). If I edit the PKGBUILD (by passing --editmenu to yay) and change pkgname to 'keyboard-configurator' it installs without error.ahoneybun_76 commented on 2021-11-22 18:52 (UTC)
It looks like Paru is also having an issue for some reason, can you test Yay with 1.1.0?
SciPineapple commented on 2021-11-11 23:40 (UTC)
I just tried to install the package and i get this error:
i'm using Yay as my Aur helper

Thank you for the report @linuxninja, the latest push should work for you as it did for me in a chroot setup for testing.
