It depends on the .so files provided by those packages so it is definitely ensured that they are installed and that the soname of those libraries matches.

The pkgbuild is not installing c++utilities and tagparser automatically? I had to install them explicitly. Just a note, thanks.

@konlaasz Makes sense. I suppose the cleanest solution would be within the upstream build system so I'll do that when I have time. Note that the *.appdata.xml file is for stores like Discover and can likely be skipped as well. (The file looks actually broken, I'll have to fix that as well.)

It doesn't make any sense to install (Useless without GUI):

  • /usr/share/applications/tageditor-renamingutility.desktop
  • /usr/share/applications/tageditor.desktop
  • /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/tageditor.svg

and possibly (What is it supposed to do?):

  • /usr/share/metainfo/tageditor.appdata.xml

I would've sent a pull request, but I couldn't figure out how to leave these out of the package, sorry. :D

Your sha256sums should read like this: sha256sums=('e3814efdb9ca9bc386b51c602f8f4f507e8698ecdaf39a5849ed1795ddaa5c38')
