The www.tegaki.org seems to no longer hold source code releases. Here's a source() to download from GitHub: https://github.com/tegaki/tegaki/releases/download/v$pkgver/$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.gz I use the same for your tegaki-pygtk and tegaki-python packages. By the way, the zinnia models package also needs to be updated with the following URL: https://github.com/tegaki/tegaki/releases/download/v$pkgver/tegaki-zinnia-japanese-$pkgver.zip Except that, the program works until I click the return button: I get a segfault from XDisplayKeycodes(). Does that mean I need to install some text input bus? EDIT: not related to buses (at least for the basic version of Tegaki). The X11 libraries used by Tegaki's fake key sender are not working for me. A “workaround” is to comment the 160th line of tegaki-recognize so it doesn't even try to send keys. This way, characters go to clipboard.

Some of the optional dependencies on the tegaki-models-zinnia-* packages do not exist.

you have to change from python to python2 in PKGBUILD. in that case, everything functions perfectly
