Package is now installed to "/usr/share", I've been convinced to do so.

Arch doesn't really seem to use /usr/share/games. Should this just install to /usr/share instead?

I restructured the PKGBUILD in two ways: 1. The download link is now permanent to the respective build number. This way im also able to provide md5sums and let makepkg handle the Download. The Version number now reflects the build number. 2. Terasology is no longer installed to /usr/local/games/ but to /usr/share/games . NOTE: If you use AURA or similiar AUR-Helpers to install this package, you may have to manually tell it to update the package, because of the change in the version number.

Works fine for me. Try http://forum.movingblocks.net/ or https://github.com/MovingBlocks/Terasology for help.

I have installed terasology for my daughter (a fan of minecraft like games...)... But terasology fails when it is caching the world, shows an error and shutdowns (after I hit escape)... Any idea? it works ok on your systems?

Thanks, I fixed the desktop file. As to the permissions: I haven't encountered any problems, but spambanane said something about it. It isn't playable for me neither, but I think it's an upstream bug as it was working before I bought a nvidia graphics card and the newest development build works for me (see package terasology-devbuild).

There's a syntax error in the desktop file: GenericName Terasology should be: GenericName=Terasology I also get permissions problems, it fails to save the config file and is unplayable.

Terasology.zip is now downloaded by wget, not automatically by makepkg. This way there is no error preventing installation because of wrong checksum when a new version of terasology is available. To ensure, that tools like aura automatically update terasology, I'll increase pkgref everytime a new version of terasology is available.
