https://github.com/JAugusto42/terminator.git fix the issue https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/vte/issues/218 but gnome-terminator/terminator is not. So i use JAugusto42/terminator instead.

for the pkgver, what's the proper way to be recomputed?

Hi, proper upstream seems to be https://github.com/gnome-terminator/terminator. Right now, the only difference is not really that important, but it seems that it might matter in a while

Edit: And what is with the pkgver? If I use this package, than on every making pkgver is recomputed to the lower value than what is in the PKGBUILD, therefore it is always saying this package is up for update

Hi everyone. I just created a package for a branch where the project partly ported to Python3. Can you try to use it please?

Thx, fixed.

This package is missing the python2-dbus dependency for terminator's D-Bus server support. Terminator works without it, as it catches ImportError when it tries to import dbus and defaults to regular one-process-per-terminal mode, but it would be a good idea to add it as an optional dependency for that feature, if not a full dependency. The normal terminator package in the Arch repos lists python2-dbus as a non-optional dependency, FWIW, but I'm not sure if it's just that the older version doesn't check.

hello, as of https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~gnome-terminator/terminator/gtk3/revision/1655 , the env has been set to 'python2' instead of 'python'. please update the PKGBUILD to remove the "python2 fix" as it is no longer needed.

No problem! I'm trying to get more involved actually, if you ever feel like dropping it I don't mind picking it up. Seems like a low maintenance package to get me going.
