Should conflict with termite-terminfo

EscapedNull commented on 2014-07-31 13:30

@PieterGen You need to install vte3-select-text (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/vte3-select-text/). Read more about installing packages from the AUR here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository

aksr commented on 2014-05-30 12:29

Hi PieterGen. Reinstall vte3-select-text.

Works fine without modification for me. Hope this makes it into community.

@thestinger Ah! Thanks!

thestinger commented on 2013-12-03 19:33

Just use `CXX=clang++ makepkg` instead.

thestinger commented on 2013-12-03 19:32

You've found a `gcc` bug (an internal compiler error) and there's nothing that can be done about it here. You can work around it by using a different compiler (`clang`).

oats commented on 2013-12-03 19:30

@thestinger Sorry, don't understand you. Care to elaborate? Thanks.

thestinger commented on 2013-12-03 19:26

@tb01110100: try compiling with `clang` instead, that's a `gcc` bug

oats commented on 2013-12-03 19:24

When building on armv6h (rpi):

g++: internal compiler error: Killed (program cc1plus)
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See <https://bugs.archlinux.org/> for instructions.
Makefile:37: recipe for target 'termite' failed
make: *** [termite] Error 4

Aborting...

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Thomas

Using this terminal for a few weeks now, really nice work here, keep it up. Goodbye to Urxvt.

Could use a pkgver() function like...

pkgver() {
cd "$srcdir"/termite
git describe | sed 's/^v//; s/-/./g'
}

Markus00000 always check commits when using git packages

After today's update my config is being ignored by termite. I've diffed it to the default config and it seems to be fine.

Bug? Did I miss something?

aksr commented on 2012-11-07 08:48

@thestinger: Ok, thanks.

thestinger commented on 2012-11-05 18:00

@aksr: you need an updated vte3-select-text

Great job. My new default terminal. [2]

thestinger commented on 2012-06-29 20:31

@skydrome: you can copy PRIMARY by selecting the text (like in other applications) and to/from CLIPBOARD with the bindings for that

However, mouseless text selection is a work-in-progress, as are configurable keybindings.

skydrome commented on 2012-06-29 20:25

anyways to be able to copy text from the terminal to clipboard like with urxvt/xsel?

shomyo commented on 2012-06-10 08:26

good job. keep going.

I recommend using the gtk3-light package with this now if you don't like the gtk3 dependency, it has the same dependencies and size as gtk2 (it just has colord support disabled).

vodik commented on 2012-05-31 08:28

Maybe have something like this for the PKGBUILD? Makes it easier to configure and to build either the gtk2 or gtk3 version.
