I see! thanks a lot! I disabled the service, removed this package, and added the script and all works!. Thanks

Hey! This package is probably no longer needed as there as there is now a drop in unlocking script for ModemManager. You can see it here and then you copy the bash script to /etc/ModemManager/fcc-unlock.d/8086:7560 (assuming that's your modem). Note that there is a second version with 1 more command if the first one struggles, see here

Hi! I'm getting this error when i try to install: tar: lenovo-wwan-unlock_ver2.1.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory is there any workaround? I notice modemManager recognize my card but is unable to enable it. Seams is looked. I used this 6 months ago and did the job. my modem is Fibocom L860 just in case some of you find out a way to make it work.

I manage to make it work, the PKGBUILD is missing the uncompress of the file: https://github.com/luigi370/thinkpad-l860-gl-fcc-unlock-bin

The package stopped working for me. When I run either DPR_Fcc_unlock_service or configservice_lenovo, they both fail with:

symbol lookup error: /opt/fcc_lenovo/lib/libmodemauth.so: undefined symbol: mbim_message_fibocom_at_command_set_new

Searching the internet for mbim_message_fibocom_at_command_set_new turns up no results at all. Does anyone know where we can find it and provide it to the programs?

For the people who have an L880 chip specifically, an unlock script has been created that works natively with ModemManager as a drop in so this tool is not needed.

hi, to whoever would like to take over this initiative, I feel like moving to support their new github based release setup here would be better? but also I don't have the time or energy to really start looking into it.

I'm in Germany using T-Mobile DE, feel free to contact me if you need a tester.

yeah I have a patch for that update, however I think it would be worth renaming the package when I push it.

Also, as I am in the US and the FCC unlock still isn't out for me, I cannot test it at all for any models including my own :(... so I'll just have to take people's word on if it works or not.

i technically need to rename this package to indicate that it now also supports unlooking for the Fibocom FM350 chip however I forget how to do this on the aur.
