https://www.cendio.com/downloads/server/tl-4.20.0-server.zip throws 404.

Nice to hear you are still active @aeneby. Looking with fear towards the upgrade ;)

aeneby commented on 2026-01-26 02:06 (UTC)

This will work for 4.18 now, since there are permanent links to all supported ThinLinc versions. Update to 4.20 (and other improvements) to come.

Looks like cendio updated their version to 4.18.0, I was able to get around it by changing the pkgver to 4.18.0 in the PKGBUILD and creating a new checksum for it by replacing the first one in sha256sums: 767fc47c46857b37ad70faefd36342ae8ddd4d44d8a1c30002340c4d7d517c56

Getting a 404 error on attempted install from "https://www.cendio.com/downloads/server/tl-4.17.0-server.zip"

Errors out trying to download as there is a new version and the 4.17 no longer has a link

cron is no longer a dependency as of ThinLinc 4.18.0

/opt/thinlinc/sbin/tl-setup

Perhaps started from the above?

systemctl enable --now vsmserver
systemctl enable --now vsmagent
systemctl enable --now tlwebaccess

cron is missing as a dependency. tl-collect-licensestats will therefor never run and the webinterface is producing errors while trying to show the License Usage.
