Xyne, thanks for the input, but I'll keep it as is. Here is my reasoning:
The gog suffix is important because this game is available from more than one DRM-free distributor, and they typically provide different archives. Vendor suffixes are messy, and I wish a consistent archive was available from all of them but this isn't the case.
Although the packaging standards do not prohibit underscores in package names, it is rare to find them in the official Arch Linux repositories (88 of 7352 packages). All officially packaged games are named without separators (ex: dwarffortress, rocksndiamonds, etc.). To follow this convention, I don't include underscores in my package names (although other AUR packagers seem to like them).

"gog" should not be part of the package name. The original title also contains spaces so it may be better to rename the package "this_war_of_mine".
