it depends on the *-git's of them

Had to install libxfce4util-devel first, then libxfce4ui-devel and only then I could install thunar-git.

jwhendy commented on 2018-05-01 15:05 (UTC)

Oh, and libxfce4ui from extra is too old for this (4.12.1 and the build fails wanting 4.13.2); I had to install libxfce4ui-git from AUR.

This never clones for me. Are you sure the xfce repo has https protocol enabled? If I edit the PKGBUILD to source=("$pkgname::git://"), it works. I also can't clone directly.

You rock :) Thanks!

It will, however every day <i>cower -uu</i> insists that there is a new version: :: thunar-git 1.6.12.r91.gf7c9eb8c-1 -> 1.6.90-1 because simply 12.*<90. It's kinda irritating. It'll only take a moment for you to fix it.

Alad commented on 2017-08-25 09:17 (UTC)

I was lazy and copied it from thunar-gtk3-git. It will be overwritten by the proper version once you build the package.

xdevla commented on 2017-08-25 05:00 (UTC)

Where is that 1.6.90 version coming from ?

GordonGR commented on 2017-08-20 12:45 (UTC)

That may be, but the thunar-git PKGBUILD must be (and kept) updated in term of dependencies before it is useful. It appears that it still has a patch that was incorporated into upstream release 1.6.11 (hence in extra/thunar) since February…

andreldm commented on 2017-08-19 18:29 (UTC)

thunar-gt3 has been merged to master, so thunar-git should be used instead. @Plexcon

andreldm commented on 2017-07-30 20:20 (UTC)

I can't help, thunar-dropbox has to be ported to gtk3/libthunarx-3. I don't think the author is going to do that while thunar-gtk3 is still non-official.

Plexcon commented on 2017-07-30 20:07 (UTC)

OK thank you very much. Can you make it work with thunar-dropbox? -> Extrayendo thunar-dropbox-0.2.1.tar.bz2 con bsdtar ==> Iniciando build()... Checking for program gcc or cc : /usr/bin/gcc Checking for program cpp : /usr/bin/cpp Checking for program ar : /usr/bin/ar Checking for program ranlib : /usr/bin/ranlib Checking for gcc : ok Checking for thunarx-2 : not found /tmp/pamac-build-kantergos/thunar-dropbox/src/thunar-dropbox-0.2.1/wscript:20: error: the configuration failed (see '/tmp/pamac-build-kantergos/thunar-dropbox/src/thunar-dropbox-0.2.1/build/config.log') ==> ERROR: Se produjo un fallo en build(). I understand, André. Thank you for your work!

andreldm commented on 2017-06-08 02:10 (UTC)

@GordonGR currently only the built-in ones (Advanced Properties, Renamer, Send to Email, User Actions and Wallpaper) are working, as the libthunarx version had to be bumped. I started porting the archive plugin (see it on my github account), works but I didn't thoroughly test it. @Jristz it was actually easy to put together an initial version of volman committed to the gtk3 cause(not tested, full of deprecation messages):

GordonGR commented on 2017-06-06 16:40 (UTC)

Apparently the plugins don't work :-S Do they need a simple rebuild or do they need porting?

commented on 2017-06-06 05:52 (UTC)

next thunar-volman. Thanks for thunar-gtk3, realy realy thanks.

GordonGR commented on 2017-06-04 10:23 (UTC)

Ah, at last a gtk3 version of Thunar… Thank you so much :)

Alad commented on 2016-08-27 18:12 (UTC)

Yes, see the bug linked in the PKGBUILD.

webdawg commented on 2016-08-27 16:32 (UTC)

Is that patch the one that stops it from crashing upon rename?
