@bytefoundry Maybe you are using Xwayland in 115 build but didn't know, try MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=0 env var in 128 build?

Global menu not working in Wayland, but it was with the version Thunderbird 115 build.

@rodneyck I update the patch to @Betterbird one, so its default disable.

For enables Global Menu:
1. Go to Settings > General > Config Editor(the last button at the bottom)
2. Search for widget.gtk.global-menu.enabled
3. Set it to true

The correct Rust version for TB 115 is 1.70.0: https://github.com/Betterbird/thunderbird-patches/blob/main/115/115.sh I know that some repos use higher version, like BB FlatPak, but they need additional patches to make it work.

@system7 the rust v1.78 broken the build, try downgrade rust to v1.77.
