There is an already open ticket about desktop entry, but the main devs don't seem to care about or are busy on too much other things since about 1 year. I made an up today about this. If needed I will clone it, add the script and make a pull request.

Hi!

I've written a .desktop file for this if you would add it, the info is on my gist: https://gist.github.com/bfayers/5571ab96d7ff3d3e481d0f16ed22e90b

Update to 0.60.3, added extra lib archive for compiling see commit; https://github.com/nesbox/TIC-80/commit/7279da73d90d9c9f78d1b8141e360c00b32a10ff

Change PKGBUILD so it compiles from source. @Popolon thanks! ;)

One week+ passed. To build from source, only have to do :

rm lib/linux*/* # to remove precompiled lib
make linux

Updated to version 0.50.1. @Popolon, i will look tomorrow to change the script for compiling it from source.

This package use the binaries of Tic-80 instead of the source, this kind of package should be named with -bin suffix after the AUR rules.

Now that the sources are available and probably compilable on Linux, they should be used instead.

a 0.50.1 was released today.

Updated to version 0.50.0. Also changed name of executable from tic-80 to tic80 for consistency as josefnpat mentioned below.

Howdy; 0.48.0 is still being developed, but I wanted to give you forwarning that the binary is being renamed from tic to tic80 (to avoid namespace collision with ncurses' tic)
