Hi bgt, I have no problem installing the package and running timelineproject with python-3.10. I assume python-humblewx or python-wxpython have not been updated since arch switching to python-3.10. Have you tried cleanly reinstalling the python dependencies as described in [1]?

Packaging software with python virtualenv is not recommended. If you are looking for that, use snap or flatpacks or similar.

Python 3.10 is not compatible with timeline, how to solve that?

edit:Solve it. Use pyenv or aur to install a lower version of python.

@Autodidaddy: The dependency python-humblewx has received an update for compatibility with Python 3.9. Please try updating python-humblewx.

@tikrass All appears to be working fine now, thanks for the fix.

Thank you for your comment. Upstream finally migrated to python3. However, a compatibility fix that I added to the PKGBUILD was messing up the hash bang.

I fixed it. It should work now. Please come back to me, if there is still a problem.

After successfully building this application (2020-01-19) when I try to run it I get the error:

/usr/bin/env: ‘python33’: No such file or directory

Looks like too many 3's after 'python'. Would that be caused by a problem in the Build files?
