The changes mentioned by shubhamshuklaer did the trick. PKGBUILD should be modified accordingly.

@akendo
on-modify-python2.patch fails to apply.
In the source code there is no empty line between
#!/usr/bin/env python
and the comments.
https://git.tasktools.org/TM/timew/src/master/ext/on-modify.timewarrior

Solution is the remove the empty line b/w "#!/usr/bin/env python" and comments from patch file.

@hikhvar I've updated the package accordingly

Hey,

here is a patch to fix the on-modify hook. It uses python3 by default but is actually python2 code.

Sorry for the late reply! The package has been updated & fixed.

makinist commented on 2017-05-05 08:37

The location for the dependency "libshared" is also wrong. To fix it, you just have to remove "scm/" from the source links.

nakano commented on 2017-04-04 12:06

It seems that there is a small problem with the PKGBUILD, pointing to a wrong location for the repository.

The correct location is:

https://git.tasktools.org/tm/timew.git/

while in the PKGBUILD you have:

https://git.tasktools.org/scm/tm/timew.git/

PKGBUILD has been updated.

@cutuchiqueno: The PKGBUILD follows the installation process as guided by the source's INSTALL file, so it's an issue you'll have to raise with upstream. That being said, I found the relevant ext/ folder in the original source (https://git.tasktools.org/projects/TM/repos/timew/browse/ext), so I'm guessing they were referring to the ext/ folder within the source and not some install directory.
I'll add the hook file a la Toost_Inc's PKGBUILD just to make things easier :)

@Toost_Inc: Awesome! I'll update the PKGBUILD when I can (most likely by tomorrow).
