I fixed the problem as you suggested. Now it builds [again], at least locally. I also noticed that v10.0.0 is out, so will also update the 'eclipse-titan' package.

After updated java to version 21 this package no longer builds. You may try to use archlinux-java get command instead of hardcoded path to java 20.

Hi all,

I just submitted a stable/latest (non -git) equivalent of this package:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/eclipse-titan

It's based on the git history of this package, plus some of my fixes and improvements:

https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/log/?h=eclipse-titan

I had a hard time getting it to build without errors (due to the upstream using hand-written Makefiles), but finally got the package building. Feel free to pull the patches and apply them here if you wish.

@christoph.gysin, @pespin: I added you as co-mainrainers, in case you would want to submit patches. If possible, I would like to co-maintain this package too.

I fixed some of the issues you described. I opened a bug report upstream regarding a build failure I see here: https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/titan/titan.core/-/issues/595

Usually running makepkg twice seems to go through.

pkgver() need to be corrected because it only show tags https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/VCS_package_guidelines#Git
git is missing from makedpends
libedit is at least missing from makedepends, please build using devtools (i.e. extra-x86_64-build) https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/DeveloperWiki:Building_in_a_clean_chroot to find what is actually needed to build this package

I think jdk7-openjdk is no longer available. I was able to reinstall it using jdk8-openjdk instead (I also had to update JKDIR to JDKDIR=/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk in PKGBUILD.

Git repo moved to git@gitlab.eclipse.org:eclipse/titan/titan.core.git, the recipe should be updated, since the old git URL doesn't contain latest tags.

Better late than never: Titan, the password manager, has been renamed to ylva.

This is predating titan by about 2 years. How about renaming titan to titan-password-manager?

Can this be renamed to eclipse-titan-git? There is a package named titan in AUR which is a password management tool.
