@arpora: this version is deemed to be stable, while version 2.0 is still a beta. Do not mix files created with both, there may be incompatibilities.

Please update to latest version, since it will not open files that are created with the tkgate-beta package. Also, note that the upstream URL no longer exists. Server seems down (gadoid.ices.cmu.edu) I used http://www.tkgate.org/downloads/tkgate-1.8.7.tgz as Source. I had to install imake. Please add imake to dependentslist

Does not compile but fails with "Tcl/Tk Version: not found" and thus "WARNING: I was unable to find one or more required tcl/tk components."

seems those paths should be preset to archlinux's defalt installation path of tcl/tk: ############################################################################# WARNING: I was unable to find one or more required tcl/tk components. If you are sure you have tcl/tk on your system, you may need to manually configure the location. Uncomment and modify the TKGATE_IPATH, TKGATE_LPATH, TKGATE_LIBS TCL_LIBRARY and TK_LIBRARY variables.
