Upstream replaced tlp-sleep.service with /lib/systemd/system-sleep/tlp a while back. /lib/systemd/system-sleep needs to be changed to /usr/lib/systemd/system-sleep (through TLP_SDSL).

The latest beta tag as of now, 1.3.0–beta.1, also contains an En dash (between "1.3.0" and "beta") which is unaccounted for by the current pkgver().

acpi_call and tp_smapi are still optional dependencies for older models.

This has recently started to fail to build for me. Adding a "mkdir -p ${pkgdir}/usr/bin" to the PKGBUILD ahead of the "make DESTDIR="${pkgdir}" install-rdw" has fixed this for me. Maybe you could update the PKGBUILD accordingly?
