@horuden I can fix the package but I'm unable to test it as I don't have access to any iSeries anymore. could you share some access I can use to test the package for the future?

It seems like the tn5250j project moved from Sourceforge to github. It looks like the Sourceforge page is gone and the download link is broken. I am not great with AUR stuff or I'd attempt to fix it myself, but I figured I'd let you know that it is currently broken. Thanks for packaging this app, it is the only decent 5250 emulator for Linux.

I've just added in the AUR some packages to extend tn5250j.
Could you please add them as optdepends?

The new packages are:
tn5250j-plugin-itext to convert the spool texts in PDF
tn5250j-plugin-jtopen to export spool and data files
tn5250j-plugin-jython to execute Python scripts inside tn5250j
tn5250j-plugin-kunststoff to apply the Kunststoff look and feel
tn5250j-plugin-log4j to enable a more detailed logging
tn5250j-plugin-mail to send email messages for exported data or screenshots

thank you in advance

I found some issues with your tarball. Binaries are usually frowned upon. This includes:
"Just an icon" you say, but maybe you should ask upstream to include it. Thank you.
