@wizonesolutions @kristerv unfortunately as i can see this problem is coming from Qt update. You can try to downgrade Qt and compile it with an older version then it's currently in repos. I will try to find out what qt5-base changes affected and create an issue on github.

Same issue as @kristerv. Haven't been able to build this release of it, even cleanly. And toggldesktop-bin is quite outdated.

I'm installing this for the first time and I got an error:

@flops, this has been fixed in v7.4.1020. If you have the previous version, you can run it with XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=any TogglDesktop.

Just third party library update, sorry for long update. But there is always 'hotfix' possible, all you need is just reinstall package.

@x-yuri in my case app running just fine, you can try to clean up home local/share dirs? In other case if it still won't start, you should create an issue on github.

It doesn't start on my machine since commit 8be137e:
