This doesn't work very well for me :( The standalone version seems to lock up the machine completely after a while, and the vst plugin segfaults when reaper or ardour scans it.

I can't test this properly as I'm not using it anymore and the UI somehow gets stuck on Wayland/Sway.
So feel free to test it. And if you'd like to take over package maintenance, just tell me ;-)
