Ah, so the problem is, I havent upgraded my system yet. Thanks for the heads-up.

Seems to be the issue described here:

A similar bug report also exists already:

So it is related to python2+gtk and not to torrent-search itself.

coderkun, I don't get this error, so I don't know.

coderkun commented on 2017-01-07 20:29

I get the following error on start: “ImportError: /usr/lib/ undefined symbol: FT_Get_Var_Blend_Coordinates”

Does this package need to be recompiled against a new version of libharfbuzz?

No reason other than I never use it. Enjoy!

SanskritFritz commented on 2014-12-28 15:33

Why? Is there a special reason, or just lack of time? I adopted this, is there something I must be aware of?

Where did you get all this gnome dependencies?
Official list:

depends=('python' 'gettext' 'pygtk' 'python-lxml' 'python-httplib2' 'dbus-python')

Anonymous comment on 2010-10-19 11:06

old python-httplib2 -> python2-httplib2, new python-httplib2 for python3

Two things:

Your two top lines should be like that

# Maintainer: graysky
# Contributor: some-guy94

and your source should be

(the most important part is to use, because with this link the user automatically downloads the file from the best mirror. Your source line directs to one specific mirror, which might be a bad choice for many users.
