Could you add a "-q" switch to the totd command line in the service file? Without this switch, totd writes logs to the journal daemon at each DNS request, which can become cumbersome. Thanks!

The patch should not rewrite the path to the install binary.

This package is broken. The patch fails to apply. The makefile is generated by ./configure, so you should not be patching it. Apparently, Makefile.in is the correct file to patch, as upstream does not use automake.
